Jameson Irish Whiskey announced that its 18-year whiskey is getting a make-over inside and out. In a move whiskey aficionados will greatly appreciate, the brand is giving the upscale whiskey’s proof a 12-point bump. The ABV of Jameson 18 Years has been increased from 40% to 46%, removing the need for chill-filtration and resulting in a whiskey with a richer mouthfeel and more depth of flavor. This change is aimed at keeping the whiskey interesting to both connoisseurs and novices alike, with an alcohol content high enough to appease more versed whiskey fans while still not being too overwhelming to consumers new to the spirit. By keeping the alcohol content high but not too high, the whiskey will be more palatable to those new to the drink while still providing a smooth, flavorful experience for those who are well-versed in the taste of whiskey.

With sustainability in mind, Jameson 18 Years is also ditching its wooden presentation box and will now be presented in a lightweight, fully recyclable cardboard box with foil accents. The new packaging will feature a scannable QR code that will direct Jameson fans to a virtual guided tasting hosted by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman.

Jack Ryan's, also known as the "Beggar's Bush" by locals, is one of Dublin's oldest existing pubs, dating back more than a century. This whiskey celebrates that centennial milestone, and is a revival of the Jack Ryan brand, which stopped production in 1946 when the Dublin Whiskey Distillery (DWS) shuttered. The bottle depicts the pub in 1913 when it opened, with an image of Jack Ryan himself and his signature. The sourced whiskey matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks and is non-chill filtered.

Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 16 year old is is truly one of the great whiskeys of the world. Aged for about 15 years in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, and then finished for about 9 months in port wine pipes (large barrels unique to making port wine.) This single malt shows its layers of flavor, juicy fruits, nuts and spice, as well as a hint of ruby redness. It’s best enjoyed neat. Okay, maybe one small cube of ice to open it up.

Found on County Antrim's rugged coastline, the village of Bushmills is home to Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery. Official records stretch back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distill. Over 400 years later whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to the experience and craft we've passed from generation to generation. We couldn't make our whiskey anywhere but here. Our water, drawn from the river Bush, flaws over beds of basalt rock, the same rock that lends its unique character to another famous local attraction - the Giant's Causeway. The casks selected for aging our whiskeys are also essential, so we keep close ties with cask-makers in Spain, Portugal and America. Once shipped to the Bushmills distillery the casks are filled and left to mature, working their magic to give our whiskey its enjoyably rich, mellow yet distinct flavor. This BUSHMILLS 16 year old single malt is matured in three different woods. Sherry and bourbon casks are used for the first 16 years, before finishing in port wine barrels. This unusual maturation gives our 16 year old its ruby red color and robust personality. Toffee and sweet spice and followed by praline, honey and toasted nut aromas and a deep finish with jammed berries and dark chocolate.

While Green Spot is often described as tasting like green apples, Yellow Spot is more in character with juicy red apples. Sophisticated and complex in character, the inclusion of full term matured whiskey from ex Malaga casks contributes exotic characteristics to the whiskey.

Aged in American oak bourbon barrels this is a unique pot still blend, 70% aged single malt and 30% single pot still whiskey. Finishes with a sweet raisin bread fade with a wisp of praline, slate, and pepper. Double Gold Medal - International Spirits Challenge 2019.

Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 21 year old is aged for a minimum of 19 years in former Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon-seasoned casks, then transferred into Madeira casks for a further 2 years.
