Tomatin 21 yr Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 750ml

This unique single malt has been crafted using Tomatin malts whiskies which have been aged for between 21 – 24 years. The use of both North American and European oak casks help to give this whisky a lovely balanced feel. The master distiller has selected whiskies matured in re fill casks as he wanted this superb 21 year old to display all the natural characteristics associated with Tomatin. Cask no.s 31648 to 31654; a combination of European & North American Oak Casks: 6 ex bourbon casks & 1 refill Sherry butt.
Bottled at 52% abv and non-chill filtered.
Date distilled – various Age of youngest casks used was 21 years old at the time of bottling. The whiskies used in this bottling range from 21 to 24 years old.
Matured in – A combination of European & North American Oak Casks.
Date bottled – 01 December 2009.
Aroma – Delicate, flowery aromas to begin with, giving way to aniseed, old leather and pipe tobacco.
Taste – Rose water, aniseed and white grape juice.
Finish – Warm and zingy with a dry, oaky spiciness.
